Well, we've had a president authorize illegal wiretaps and adminstration officals indicted for obstruction of justice and theft. We even have some admistration officials who commited treason, and are still on the job, so it figures that they might as well try it all.

The deputy press secretary for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security was arrested Tuesday for using the Internet to seduce what he thought was a teenage girl, authorities said.

In other Republican criminal news (its hard to keep up) indicted scumbag Tom Delay finally resigns from the house.

Tom Delay's attorney on his relationship with convicted felon Republican lobbyist Jack Abramoff:

There's no question that they are friends and Tom Delay's not the kind of person that's going to turn his back on a friend that's in trouble---Tom Delay is not going to abandon Jack Abramoff just because Abramoff has done some illegal things
