The folks over at the corner (the National Review official blog) are beneath contempt:
So all the dems have left to hope for is that Americans die in Iraq and that Iraqis are unable to establish some form of stable government to replace the Baathist regime.
Democrats are "hoping" that Americans die?
And if a mainstream liberal magazine said that Republicans were "hopng" american soldiers would die in Kosovo to help defeat Clinton, I wonder what their reaction would be?
Thank god im a liberal. It seems that almost all prominent conservatives these days are either, insane, blatantly dishonest, or engage in nothing but smear attacks.

Donald Luskin:
Stalker, and raving lunatic.
Some background info if you haven’t heard the story as it hit the blogs last night (but you probably already have).
Donald Luskin is a “columnist” (and I use the term lightly) for the national review online who is absolutely and utterly obsessed with Paul Krugman. He has a recurring column in National Review Online that is dedicated to attacking Paul Krugman called the “Krugman truth squad”. In it he calls him a serial liar, dangerous, etc, and an entire website devoted to doing nothing but attacking Krugman as well.
Read one paragraph and you’ll see the guy hates Krugman as much as Krugman hates Bush. Only Luskin is childish and whiny about it. Look at the website for 5 minutes and try not to get the heebie jeebies.
HE even had one column entitled:
We stalked, he balked
This will be important later on...
also, hes a liar. for example:
HANNITY (of Fox): [Laughs] Okay, that's fair, I understand. Did he say that comment that Mike was asking about, about [Bush being an] alcoholic? Did he say it? Do you have proof of it?
LUSKIN: Just pay your $2.50 and go the New York Times archive and look at his January 17th column. Judge for yourself. It's black and white.
lets go to the column:
Picture a recovering alcoholic falling off the wagon. First he says he can handle a few drinks. Then, when his inebriation can't be denied, he insists it's only a temporary lapse. But eventually he turns mean. "What's so great about being sober?" he growls, reaching for another bottle.
As a drunk is to alcohol, the Bush administration is to budget deficits.
As anyone with a brain can see, he was making a rhetorical argument about Bush and deficit spending. All this is quite entertaining. I mean having a paranoid patholigically lying conservative write a column isn't news these days. But it gets better. Atrios, one of the best blogs out there, recently had a post with nothing but a link entitled “diary of a stalker” and linked to one of Luskins columns. No big deal right? Seeing as how Luskin’s own column title was “We stalked, he balked.
Luskin is now suing him for libel because eh entitled a post with nothing but the words "diary of a stalker". And get this, part of his complaints is because of what people said in his comments section!!!
Amazing. The guy’s truly lost it. The best part is reading the comments section about luskin now after this broke. He thought it was bad before. So this friday, bloggers are urging everyone who has a blog to describe Luskin in a way they feel comfortable with, and possibly go to atrios's website and leave interesting comments.

To all you whiners out there complaining about the lack of WMD's in Iraq.
His true plan is finally revealed!!
Who cares how many biological weapons he has when all he has to do is hit left, left, up, down , left, attack 1 for infinite health?
Draft dodging, pretzel choking, Segway crashing, coke sniffing, miserable failure
It's a vast left wing conspiracy

All those bombings tell us is that were doing a great job!
But the "liberal" media will probably spin it as a bad thing.
Thank god for Pat Robertson. I will be making these into laminated cards and handing them out to friends to make sure we are all safe.
